ODI Data Developer

From a technical standpoint, we are looking for someone with 9+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in the following areas:

Daily Tasks:

• Analyzing requirements and conducting technical feasibility studies
• Developing integrations using ETL, SQL, and Java between source RDBMS and data warehouses
• Acting as the first point of contact for production issues or technical advice
• Collaborating closely with Ops engineers on interface deployments, production data analysis, and UAT debugging
• Learning and implementing new tools on the interface, such as Azure DevOps, GIT, and Ansible
• Assisting in the development of deployment automation strategies
• Performing unit testing and system integration testing
• Preparing regulatory reports by understanding requirements
• Supporting audits with documentation, code walkthroughs, and proof generation

Technical stack (other):

• Experience integrating data using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling techniques, and entity-relationship diagrams
• Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS (tables, views, indexing, tuning, data types)
• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer or other SQL client tools
• Skills in data analysis and cleansing techniques
• Advanced SQL skills (including analytical functions) and PLSQL
• Experience with data transformation techniques
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology
• Basic knowledge and experience in Java is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Effective communication skills for presenting and demoing solutions
• Attention to detail in documenting work
• Knowledge of Linux OS and shell scripting
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Microsoft TFS/Azure
